Flat gate valve is a sliding valve with a parallel gate as the closing element. The closing component can be a single gate or a double gate with a supporting mechanism between them. The clamping force between the gate and the valve seat is controlled by the medium pressure acting on the floating gate or floating valve seat. If it is a double gate flat gate valve, the opening mechanism between the two gates can supplement this clamping force.
Structural features:
1. Adopting a floating valve seat, bi-directional opening and closing, reliable sealing, and flexible opening and closing.
2. The gate is equipped with guide bars for precise guidance, and nickel phosphorus plating for erosion resistance.
3. The valve body has a high load-bearing capacity, and the channel is a straight through type. When fully open, it is similar to the straight pipe and passes through the gate guide hole, with very small flow resistance. The valve stem adopts composite packing and multiple seals, ensuring reliable sealing and low friction.
4. When the valve is closed, the gate moves downwards to the bottom. Due to the pressure of the medium, the inlet sealing seat is pushed towards the direction of the gate, forming a larger sealing pressure ratio and forming the first seal. At the same time, press the gate towards the sealing seat at the outlet end to form a double seal.
5. The sealing parts are equipped with grease injection devices, which can be used for emergency sealing in case of valve leakage.
